3 Mistakes Made When Buying Curtains

1 – Incorrect measurements

Before you go out and purchase your curtains, make sure to measure your windows and adjust measurements depending on how you want to hang the window treatments.

2 – Not thinking about fullness

If you want nice, full drapes then we recommend looking at 2 times the width of the window. So for example if your window 4 ft wide, then the ungathered panels should be at least 8 ft wide.

3 – Not thinking about hardware

Another rookie mistake is not thinking about the hardware needed to install the curtains. Have a look at how heavy the curtains are and consider whether you’ll need a rod with extra support or added hardware.
