You will be correct in thinking that you have to be very careful when cleaning painted walls, as you run the risk of either spreading any stains which are already on the wallpaper, or lifting the paintwork. Below are 3 suggestions for when you do clean your painted walls.
- Dust the wall using a soft brush, broom or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. This should remove that may add to the staining when you clean.
- Find the stains on your wall and treat them first. Always test out your product on a small part of your wall to make sure it doesn’t lift off any paint.
- Using warm water with soap usually does the trick.
