A water feature is a lovely addition to any garden and it can be the perfect installation ahead of summer. It will help to improve aesthetics and give you a centrepiece or focal point, which you can arrange seating or plant flowers and bushes around. There are lots of different options for water features, some more complex than others.

A water feature like a small fountain can look beautiful but is going to be more difficult to install. Make sure you get it installed by someone who knows what they are doing, or you get a water feature that will be simpler to install. It will need to be connected to a water supply and it will usually require and electricity supply as well.

Something more simple, like a pond or birdbath, could also look lovely. A pond may be complicated to install though, and you might need filters if you are going to have fish.
