If you’re planning on redecorating your home in the near future, you’re probably thinking ‘what is the point in cleaning, if I’m going to be redecorating soon?’ Well, there is a point, and it means your redecorating project will be a lot easier.

There’s obviously no point in cleaning tiles in the kitchen that you’re going to be removing, that would be silly but cleaning furniture and worksurfaces that are going to remain are a must. If you do this you can then store them away, meaning they’re ready to be bought back into the house when your redecorating jobs are complete.

Can’t think of anything worse than doing the redecorating such as painting or replacing carpets to find you need to bring dirty items back in. Make sure you think about cleaning a dirty home before redecorating because it makes it a lot easier.
